e+CancerCare is a leading provider of outpatient cancer services through partnerships with local hospitals and physicians.


CEO1ST PARTNER(S)

Tim Petrikin, the company’s founding CEO, started the business in 2002 with Jerry Eyler and Charlie Martin, Chairman & CEO of Vanguard Health Systems. They had previously worked together for many years at Symbion, an outpatient surgery center company, and OrNda HealthCorp, a hospital company.

  


STATUS

Growing demand for outpatient cancer services, which can be cheaper and more efficient than hospital-based treatment

Initial investment to provide recapitalization and growth capital in 2008, followed by investments in add-on acquisitions

Partial liquidity through recapitalization by another investment firm, 2011

Marc Kerlin became CEO, 2012
