DeVry owns and operates DeVry University, one of the largest systems of proprietary post-secondary education in the U.S., as well as Keller Graduate School of Management (KGSM), a for-profit graduate school of management.

Dennis Keller, Chairman, co-founded KGSM in 1973 after holding marketing and financial positions at Motorola and DeVry. Ron Taylor, President and CEO, was a co-founder of KGSM and the former assistant controller of the Bell & Howell Education Group, which included DeVry.

KGSM and an investor group led by Frontenac acquired DeVry from Bell & Howell in 1987
