CROM Acquires Specialty Infrastructure Services Provider, CFG Industries

The acquisition expands CROM’s geographic reach and deepens its technical service capabilities.

GAINESVILLE, FL

CROM, LLC (“CROM”), a provider of water infrastructure solutions, announced today the acquisition of CFG Industries (“CFG”). Headquartered in Houston, TX, CFG offers specialized infrastructure services. The transaction marks the second strategic acquisition for CROM in 2025 as it looks to expand its capabilities and reach across water services.

Founded and led by water industry veteran David Cadriel, CFG Industries delivers a range of solutions including protective coatings, structural repairs, underground utilities and electrical systems, lift station rehabilitation, and custom welding and fabrication. The acquisition of these capabilities further strengthens CROM’s offering in water and wastewater infrastructure, especially for municipal water districts and cities.

David Cadriel will remain with the company as General Manager and Vice President of CROM CFG, ensuring continuity for employees, customers, and partners.
