TPC Training Acquires Simutech Multimedia

Buffalo Grove, IL – August 4, 2020

TPC, a provider of workforce training, performance, and compliance solutions, announced today the acquisition of Simutech Multimedia, a provider of simulation based training for maintenance and operations professionals across a wide range of industries.

“Adding the Simutech simulations to our existing digital training offerings is a tremendous benefit to our customers, who have come to expect innovative and experiential solutions from TPC. This enables us to add another hands-on training experience where learners can troubleshoot real world challenges in a virtual environment,” said Derek Dunaway, CEO at TPC.

Simutech represents a key element of the company’s strategy of developing a comprehensive workforce management platform. The addition of Simutech’s training software to TPC’s digital training offering, in-person and virtual instructor-led training, EHS solutions and compliance and certification programs allows TPC to add simulation learning to its already industry leading platform.

The software is built on cutting edge technology and offers a gamified learning experience where students troubleshoot real world situations in a fully immersive virtual environment. The simulation training and troubleshooting system provided by Simutech will build upon the success of TPC’s current product portfolio in assisting the manufacturing industry with overcoming the workforce skills gap. Bridging this skills gap calls for innovative approaches, such as simulation training, to equip employees with the technical skills they need to succeed in the industry.

“We are proud to be joining the TPC family and continuing our contribution to re-imagining the future of workforce growth and management,” said Samer Forzley, CEO of Simutech. “Both companies have been leaders in training and troubleshooting for many years and we look forward to combining our complementary strengths and common passion for providing immense value to our clients.”

TPC continues to accelerate its focus on investing in inventive technologies that will streamline the delivery of workforce management offerings to its customer base. This is one of the largest acquisitions in TPC’s recent history and the company’s third acquisition in less than two years.
